1. Information we collect

This calculator requires no account and collects no personal information. The values you enter — your birthday and the life expectancy you set — are processed entirely inside your own browser. They are not transmitted to us, not stored on a server, and never received by us in any form. There is no backend: the site is a set of static files plus JavaScript that runs on your device.

The same is true of the images. Both the phone wallpaper and the share card are drawn on your device with the browser's canvas API and saved directly to your downloads folder. No image is uploaded, rendered on a server, or seen by us.

2. Cookies and third-party advertising

This site may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Users in the EEA and UK may also be shown a consent prompt where required by law. Advertising is served independently of the calculator and never has access to the birthday you enter.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free aggregate analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and understand which pages are useful. No personally identifying information is collected, and the values you enter into the calculator are never included in analytics data.

4. Local storage and URL presets

The calculator may read preset values from the page URL — for example a life-expectancy setting when you follow a link from one of our guide pages. If you choose to share a link that includes your own birthday as a URL parameter, that date is visible to anyone you send it to, exactly as any other part of a URL would be. We do not require cookies for the tool itself to function.

5. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you sign up for or purchase a product through them. This never changes the price you pay, and it does not influence the arithmetic, figures or explanations on this site. Where a page contains affiliate links we aim to make that clear on the page itself.

6. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculator will continue to work. You can also use the site with an ad blocker. This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Not health, medical or financial advice

The life expectancy used to size the grid is a number you choose, not a prediction about you, and nothing on this site estimates how long any individual will live. Figures such as "Saturdays remaining" are arithmetic performed on your own assumption, as explained on the about page. Do not use this site as a basis for medical, insurance or financial decisions.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected on this page rather than announced separately.
